Stainless Steel Façades
Standing seam façades can be installed with long lengths, typically up to 6 metres. They can also be carried from the façade into the roof.
Cassettes
These provide a high standard of flatness and scope for project-specific manufacture as dimensions can be adapted to meet any technical or fixing considerations. Cassettes can be square or rectangular, flat or curved, perforated or stamped and are folded on all sides. This enables them to be installed vertically or horizontally using either interlocks or mechanical fixings. They can be removed individually for maintenance or replacement.
Interlocking panels and shingles
Defined by a linear appearance, interlocking panels can be used on flat or curved surfaces with variation achieved either through use of different panel thicknesses (0.5 – 1.5 mm) or a variety of surface finishes.
Interlocking panels can be either square, rectangular or lozenge shape and are fixed on a continuous, rigid wooden support or a secondary framework. Fixings are on all four sides.
Sinusoidal corrugated profile
The corrugated profile is obtained by guiding the metal coil through rollers which provide both the shape and angle. Installation can be either horizontal or vertical, in single or double skin. Typically used for large industrial and commercial buildings, profiles have a width of 1000 mm and thicknesses of 0.6 – 0.8 mm. Maximum length is governed primarily by transport /handling constraints.
Trapezoidal corrugated profile
Trapezoidal corrugated profiles give greater rigidity to the building envelope and offer the same advantages as profiled rib cladding. However, a wider architectural range is possible due to both the type and form of profile. Their maximum length is determined as a function of the tray folder used, but generally will not exceed 6 metres. Installation can be either horizontal or vertical with a single or double skin using interlocking joints or clips.
*Perforated panels can be produced with either sinusoidal or trapezoidal profiles.
Solar shading
Solar shading not only limits solar gain but can be used as an intrinsic feature of a building’s visual aesthetic. It can be provided through use of fixed or louvre blades in vertical, horizontal or angled positions.
